It's Worth a Share

Digging through my office emails for this week. And I am sharing with you one good read here.

Are there heart problems in your family tree?

Are you at risk?

YOU put your HE♥RT into everything you do, so you’ve got to keep it healthy. But heart health doesn’t come naturally for many of us. In fact, each year heart disease KILLS more people than any other cause, around the world.  Clearly, we need to take better care of our tickers!

Are there heart problems in your family tree?
Some types of heart disease are hereditary — they run in families. Others are caused by unhealthy habits, such as lack of exercise, smoking or a poor diet. Not all types of heart disease are an emergency, but they’re all serious. Talk to your doctor as soon as you can if you think you might be at risk for a heart condition.
Healthy heart actions you can start today.
After all your heart does for you, don’t you think it deserves a little TLC?
  • Get moving. Aim for 30 minutes of blood-pumping exercise each day. Whether you go for a long run or take a few short walks, any activity that gets your heart beating faster is good.
  • Guard your heart from tobacco. If you smoke, stop. Quitting smoking might be one of the toughest things you’ll ever do, but you’re worth the effort. A year after your last cigarette, you’ll have cut your risk of heart disease in half.
  • Eat smart. You’ve heard that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? Well, it holds true for women, too. A healthy diet is the key to a healthy heart. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean meat, fish, beans, peas and lentils. Stay away from processed and packaged foods. Drink plenty of water, and don’t have more than one or two alcoholic drinks in a day.
  • Stay at a healthy weight. Keeping your weight in a healthy range will lower your risk for heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and other problems.
  • Check your numbers. Having high blood pressure, cholesterol or glucose levels raises your risk for heart problems. See your doctor for regular check-ups, so you can keep track of your levels and keep them where they need to be.

1st Day Away from Him ♥

October 5th

I don't know how and what to react when I sent him off to the airport today. It's going to be the very first time that we'll be away from each other. What makes me sad the most is that we've planned for a short get-away trip a few months back to celebrate our anniversary and that's supposed to be 2 weeks from now. We'll have to wait for another year or so for that. It's like, smiling with tears. I support him though, I know he's happy with his decision and he's doing it for his family, for us and our son, Basty. It's for our future.

My Dear's going to work abroad. He's going to be 4, 283 miles away from me.

A-Long-Distance-Love indeed, right? haha

Oh there...

This has been sitting in my draft for more than a year now.  And mind you... I've spent almost half an hour trying to log in to my account... i forgot my email and password... duhhh

happy that i was able to retrieved it.

A lot has happened in the last 16 months. I am married now and happy and been through this post married stress lately haha it's a good kind of stress though?!? lol
CHANGING MY IDENTITY AFTER MARRIAGE
That's my kind of stress...
Received my Marriage Certificate... and had my info updated at work... then up next in my list is -- name change of all my identification documents!

I'm gonna have to do a different post for that...

Well, to my DEAR HUSBAND... my long-distance-love affair (still)...

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

After a month you left, we started planning for our wedding (which keeps me busy for months and thwart me away from the blog world for awhile haha) I really can't believe that we're married now! I love it when people call me Mrs. Diaz and I am glad that your love is mine.

Fair & Just

When was your best considered…?
BEST!

First and foremost, people work to earn money. In the world we live in, everyday survival is crucial. These days, money works in anyways. You can’t just find free food and drinks, clothes, shelter and at times, love is not even free at all. Every bits of everything is worth a penny. How did we end up like this?

Success now a day is hard to get. You either have to work hard for it or do the other way around!?!

Often times, we get blinded by what money and material things offers.

There's always a reason behind one's action. Reasons that reflects one's true color. We are all responsible for whatever actions we take. At times, we tend to hurt someone along the way just to attain the real purpose of what we are trying to achieve. Pushing ourselves into the rotting institutions we want to reinvent. Ram and plunge until you get what you desire for.

Often times, it’s not what you know but who you know (that got you to the top)!

  Sad but true

I’ve seen and known a few who works hard the decent way and not even thinking of getting something in return out of it. They are those who work the hardest, at times paid less than what is expected. They chose not to complaint and does what they thought is right and just. These are the kind of people we should look up to.

But believe it or not, we had gone through that at some point in our lives too, where we make mistakes and either we do our best to not make the same mistake again or live fully by it without care. Lucky are those who show fairness, honesty and even-handed in everything. They don’t have to feel the guilt each time they’ll look into the eyes of those they cared for.

In the end, it’s what you do well in life that counts and is important when you face HIM someday. HE will let you embrace what you have attained in an unjust way at this very moment, but surely, time will come, HE’ll take it all back from you. When that time comes, make sure you’re ready for it.

Remember…

Success gained through fair competition brings forth sweeter victory in the end.

Your BEST may not be seen and heard yet but time will come, abundance will pour upon you!

Happy Mother's Day

M O T H E R

What comes in your mind whenever you read or hear this?

wikipedia says...

Mother or mum / mom / mam is a woman who has raised a child or given birth to a child. A woman in a relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth. Bring up a child with care and affection.

It may have a thousand meaning

BUT

Only a Real Mother
can truly explain what it is like to be one...

A mothers' sacrifice and undying love is beyond compare. She took good care of you until the world welcomes you. The pain she endures means nothing when she first see you smile and hear you laugh. She gets hurt when you're hurt and will fight for you till the end. She can be your sister or your best friend. The shoulder you can cry and lean on.
She is your number one fan.
She will always be proud of you.
She will love you no matter what you are and who you will become in the future. She will accept you with all her heart and soul.

Take a moment and thank your mom... for without her, you will never be what you are right now.

I Love You So Much Mama
