Pinaksiw nga Isda

 Ilonggo's Pinaksiw nga Isda

 

Ingredients:

1 big Fish (any fish will do)

1 medium Red Onion (quartered)

1 thumb Ginger

1 T Cooking Oil

1/2 cup Vinegar

1/4 cup Soy Sauce

3 pcs Red Chili

pinched of Chili Powder  

Brown Sugar

Salt & Pepper

In a wok pan, lay the fish along with onion, ginger and red chili. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; then pour the vinegar and soy sauce. Set the stove into medium heat, cover and let boil.

Once boiling, add a spoon of brown sugar and oil. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes. 

Turn off heat and dust with chili powder.

 

Remember, you can always adjust the flavor of your dish according to your liking.

My husband and I loves spicy food. So whenever we cook this type of dish, we wanted it to be a bit spicy.

My New MAC Lippies 👄💄

I'm back again for another MAC Haul...

I purchased online 2 new lip products from MAC Cosmetics.

I bought their RETRO MATTE LIQUID LIPCOLOUR and LIP SCRUBTIOUS.







As y'all know, I've been obsessed with their lip products lately and did a few purchases to try some of it. I enjoy using it so far and will surely purchase more (and probably their other products too) in the coming months.

What I love mostly with online shopping is that... MAC offers a lot of freebies, discounts and variety of products online; compared to when you go to the malls and be disappoint at times knowing that the item you're looking for is not available in store.

So, without further ado... Here are the products I got from MAC.

This time... it feels like opening a monthly beauty subscription box 👀 Yes... it came in a box. 

It's like opening a present on your b day!

As usual, it comes in a black envelope with the receipt and thank you note.

Upon checking out, you will often times get a chance to choose an item from their samples or freebies. 

But, this free stuffs aren't always of the same variety. This often changes and the products depends on what they'll give out for free on that specific month.

I think this was included in my purchases since they are now releasing a new line of foundation called MAC NEXT TO NOTHING. I actually got 2 free sample bottles (the one was from my previous purchase).

So I had the lipstick on for more than 10 hours? 

 ME... after 2 (or more?) meals... snacks... and drinks lol

And for the next item I got... 

LIP SCRUBTIOUS

Summer Berry

15 ml / 0.5 US fl oz 

It's my first time to try MAC's lip scrub. They have this in 5 flavours. And according to MAC, this is a sugar-based exfoliator that gently buffs away dry and flaky skin. 

I checked reviews online as well and most people recommend the Summer Berry flavor.

The packaging is really nice. The box itself is embossed with MAC logo.

 And they're generous enough as I find a good amount of product for this lip scrub.

I tried the lip scrub right away and this is how it went...

 I was surprised actually... this taste really good haha

The product will stain your fingers though BUT it's washable 👌

It has a tint to it that makes your lips pinkish and smooth after exfoliating.
