Pinaksiw nga Isda


 Ilonggo's Pinaksiw nga Isda

 
Ingredients:

1 big Fish (any fish will do)
1 medium Red Onion (quartered)
1 thumb Ginger
1 T Cooking Oil
1/2 cup Vinegar
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
3 pcs Red Chili
pinched of Chili Powder  
Brown Sugar
Salt & Pepper

In a wok pan, lay the fish along with onion, ginger and red chili. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; then pour the vinegar and soy sauce. Set the stove into medium heat, cover and let boil.
Once boiling, add a spoon of brown sugar and oil. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes. 
Turn off heat and dust with chili powder.


 
Remember, you can always adjust the flavor of your dish according to your liking.

My husband and I loves spicy food. So whenever we cook this type of dish, we wanted it to be a bit spicy.
