Husband Fashionista!

What fashion does to our husband?!
It is a bit uncommon for our husband to be as more fashionable than us, wives or women. When you say “Fashion”, it is most likely linked to us girls. Of course, a lot of men are into fashion as well, but when time comes and they get married, most of them lost their fashion sense.

That’s just my own opinion though.

For those men who are not into show business... corporate world... fashion industry… you name it…
“The so-called-normal-guy” -- their style and fashion faded. Is it may be because; they are more occupied of thinking how they can provide more to their growing family? And they tend to forget about their selves. It’s a sad thing L

Pero ang asawa ko? Is so really into FASHION

Yes, you read it right J

He makes sure that he looks good at all times. Whenever we go out, he’s a head turner. I feel so proud. I will post his OOTD every time we go out and I let you guys judge it hehe

Guys, you don’t have to spend too much just to look good. Start first within yourself. Be optimistic at all times. The results will pay off after.

Below is the list of strategy that you can use as your guide in getting the Oh-So-Yummy look that you crave for (The CHEAPEST way):

1.       Let out the inner HUNK in you – it’s just there, hiding all these years. It doesn’t matter if you’re too thin… too fat… just a so-so guy… let that slight Adones thing out in you. Get a new hair style or if you think you’ll look great with a new hair color, go for it! Since most guys have shorter hair, a hair color would cost you not more than 500 peso. Yup, meron yan! The cheapest hair color I knew is around 600peso for girls ah. Imagine kayo mas shorter ang buhok. Sigurado, mas mura pa diyan babayaran nyo. For hair cut naman? It only cost around 35 to 45 slash 50 peso. Nasa tabi-tabi lang yan… Explore!

2.       Go get your nails done. If you’re too lazy to spend at least a penny to get your nails done, trim it yourself. Wash with soap twice; soak it in warm water with a bit of a liquid soap for 3 to 5 minutes to get a softer nail. Then cut it straight across (avoid cutting it ng sobrang sagad sa nail beds)-That isn’t the right way of cutting it.

Note: Ang pinaka murang mani pedi na alam ko is around 45-50 peso. If both mani pedi, total is around 90 to 100 peso. Not bad na diba? Madami diyan guys! Pag tinamad kayo na gawin ung option sa taas, punta lng kayo sa malapit na parlor and magpa mani / pedi. Ask for a promo din, kasi minsan, may promo na foot or hand spa kasama mani/pedi for around 250 to 300 peso only. Makakatipid kayo.

Remember: Girls love a neat / clean hand! J

3.       Make sure to cut and shave extra hair! Haha sa Face lang ah! Don’t get malisyoso J Too much hair is not as good as what you think it is. Most girls don’t like guys na halos kakambal na ni KingKong. A little mustache, goatee and goat patch will do. As long as neat tignan. If you’re super masipag to trim it every day... why not diba!

But take note… Most women prefer a “Clean Shaven” face. It contains no facial hair at all. As the name suggests, the face is cleanly shaven. To remain clean shaven, daily shaving is often required. So guys, if you prefer this, kailangan magsipag lang sa pag shave ARAW-ARAW!

For list of facial hairstyle, just click this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_facial_hairstyles

4.       Make sure to wash your face and brush your teeth as often as needed. Yup yup yup! As much as possible, wash your face lalo na pag nagiging oily na ito. Oily skin is a NO NO! Avoid touching your face with your bare hands. I got turned off every time I see guys do this. Buy a tissue but I prefer you bring along with you a hanky. Mura at madami niyan sa Baclaran, Divisoria and sa palengke. Minsan 10 peso per piece pa yan. There are a lot of styles to choose from. You don’t need to have piles and piles of hanky. Having 2 to 4 pieces will do. Make sure to wash it after you used it.

A guy na mabango ang hininga is so attractive. Make sure to brush your teeth before you leave the house. Oopppss! maybe some of you would laugh upon reading this! But hell yes… There are some who doesn’t do it! And if you’re outside na and katatapos lang kumain or you feel like nangangamoy na (sorry for the term), make sure you have a gum or mint candy handy at all times.

You know What?
When you chew gum, your saliva production is also stimulated. If you didn’t know already, saliva is the most important factor when it comes to maintaining good oral health. Saliva has antibacterial properties and can help flush out food debris, remaining sugars and other harmful acids in your mouth. Sugarfree gum has also been found to be effective in protecting the enamel of your teeth. In fact, chewing on some sugar-free gum after meals can lessen your tooth cavities. Guys, a clean looking man is so good to looked at. J

5.       SMELL good. Ready na ang deo, cologne or perfume. This one is a must. Never cross this out on your list. It’s considered as a guy must have. No need to spend too much on a perfume or cologne. I find Aficionado and Prescripto a good find too. Mabango na! Mura pa.
** Tandaan, kayang kaya mong gumwapo kahit mura lang ang gamit mo. Sa nagdadala lang yan.
6.       Wear clothes that would look good but comfortable at the same time. If you feel comfortable, lumalabas yan sa aura mo.  Find a pair of good pants (maki-Sale sa mall pag may time) or if you can, makipagsiksikan din sa Divi at Baclaran. Lalong lalo na if you noticed that your pants are way out of uso na. Straight cut pants are a good one, but remember, it should not be too loose or too tight. You should have one denim / dark jeans and khaki pants. Pag meron kana niyan, it’s a start na para maisipan mong pumorma. One more thing… Wear shirts and polo shirts that are well fitted. Loose top is not good anymore. I have bought my dear a polo shirt sa SM department store that cost only around 300 or 350 peso. He wears it to work since bawal sa office namin ang t-shirt. He likes it hehe (alam mo naman yon, mahilig yon sa mamahalin. Ni try ko lang na ibili siya ng mumurahin naman haha). That’s why guys, I’m helping you out na mag ayos sa sarili na hindi gaano gumagastos ng sobra. J

7.       Wear a watch and a bracelet or a necklace pag sanay kayong magsuot nito. A watch would look great na. Hindi kailangan ang sobra sa daming alahas. But please, DON’T EVER FORGET TO WEAR YOUR WEDDING RING!

8.       Buy cheap but nice shoes. Do not wear your sport or athletic shoes sa pag gala sa mall or somewhere else. That’s why it’s called rubber or sport shoes since it’s designed for sports or other forms of physical exercise. I know now a day, most men tend to wear them for casual events but please refrain from doing so. Below are types of shoes for every type of pants. It’s just a guide so you would know what to buy and the kind of shoes that suits you. It may look expensive, but as what I’ve always told you, nasa tabi-tabi lang ang mga yan. Mapa bangketa, divisoria, baclaran or palengke. Pumili ka lang ng maganda J

·         Check out this other link as well guys. http://www.esquire.com/the-side/style-guides/best-mens-shoes-2011-fall#slide-1

9.       Don’t bring with you a back pack all the time, unless you really have to. Of course you don’t want to be mistaken as a student still, right? Give up na yan. Palitan ng ibang klase na bag if kelangan mo talaga magdala. Replace your old back pack with a trendy men’s shoulder bag, messenger bag, canvas bag or men’s tote bag.

10.       Lastly, always wear a smile and be as polite as possible. Huwag yong sobra ulit baka mapagkamalan ka nyan. If you came across someone you knew. Smile a little and nod to acknowledge the presence of someone you bump into. If it’s a close friend, tap him a bit at the back of his shoulder. If you’re walking in public, walk as if you’re on a runway. Don’t slouch, back straight and stomach in. Pag medyo may kalakihan ka, still do the same… walk as if you’re proud of what you have. Again, don’t act too much baka may sumapak naman sayo bigla, kasi daw ang angas mo. Yong tama lang lage J *wink

Remember, if someone you came across with need a help, lend a hand. Help an old lady cross the street, help someone reach something she can’t, etc. There are a lot of ways that you can do to help others. Nako, pag ginawa mo to 100x pogi points ka. Hep hep… ang pagtulong ay bukal sa kalooban, ok? J

Feel free to leave a comment and your thoughts! I will be so glad to read all of it.

Next stop mga mummies hehe I’ll be posting good  finds na nabili ko to decorate our house! Give me a month or so for that! J In the mean time abangan nyo pa ibang blog ko about health, food and lifestyle XOXO
