Chicken Watermelon

Mommies, what do you have for dinner last night? Ours? My own version of chicken in watermelon sauce.
I'm an ultimate watermelon lover. I would often buy that and just eat it any time I feel like it. Honestly, if I bought a whole of it, I just grab my large plate, cut it in half and spoon it out! o(^^o) Well I guess I got tired of eating it the same way that I used to so I thought, why not make make a dish out of it?!

So everyone, enjoy this mouth watering Chicken Watermelon

1/2 k of Chicken cut into serving pieces
2 mediun size Potato
cut your whole Watermelon into half, extract the juice
Onion, chopped
Garlic, crushed and chopped
1 whole fresh tomato or 1 pouch of powdered tomato
Salt and Pepper
1 t of Brown Sugar
2 T of Butter
Fish Sauce

In a sauce pan, saute onion and garlic in a melted butter. Add the chicken and simmer until it turned golden brown. Turn chicken once to make sure both sides are coated evenly. Add the potatoes then tomato and let boil. Add the watermelon juice, fish sauce, salt / pepper and the brown sugar, mix well then simmer for another 3-5 minutes.

There you go! It's easy to cook and you can really taste the watermelon in every bite! ヽ(^。^)ノ

Enjoy Dears

Mixed Brown Rice and Veges

We still have a left over rice from last night's dinner. I can't afford to have a left over not eaten at all! I don't want something then not have them eat it the next morning. But of course I don't want them to eat the same food they had the previous day! So I make sure to make something out of it that is delicious and at the same time healthy O_O

I know most of us have a hard time making our kid/s eat vegetables and healthy foods. Mommies, you can still make a yummy breakfast for your kid/s by just adding even a little veges in it. It's yummy and healthy at the same time. The kid/s would barely noticed it! *_*
(I was just lucky though since my kid loves veges too)

Here's how I make this brown rice with veges!

Left over Brown Rice
1 Big Tomato (or 2 medium size tomatoes), chopped
5 cloves of Garlic, crushed and chopped
1 Hot dog, sliced
1 medium size Egg, beaten
Salt and Pepper
2 T Star Margarine

In a sauce pan, saute garlic, tomato and hot dog in a melted margarine. Once it's cooked, add the beaten egg and the brown rice. Mix them well.
Best served hot!

Fish Adobo

Presenting last Friday's dinner...
FISH ADOBO ♡

We decided to have fish for dinner so our little-BIG boy will eat a lot for the night! Pinapataba lang talaga siya. Since he's mahilig sa fish, we cook this instead sa chicken dish na I'm sure mas gusto sana ni daddy dear niya haha peace*

3 pieces Large Fish
1 whole Red Onion quartered
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 T Ginger, crushed and chopped
1/2 cup Vinegar
2 T Soy Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste

In a sauce pan, combine fish, onion, garlic, ginger and vinegar, then simmer for 3-5 minutes or until the fish is cooked. Add the soy sauce, salt and pepper and a little water if needed to prevent it from drying out. Simmer for another minute then it's ready to serve!

happy-sad thoughts!

I'm a Lola's Girl ever since...

I grow up with my lola and has always been with her side since I was little. I'm their first apo kasi and that's on both sides of my parents. But I'm really close sa Nanay ko (which is my lola on my mother side). There was even a time na mas pinili kong sumama sa lola ko kesa sa mom ko. My mom understand though and they all know how attached I am with Nanay.

Not until highschool... I guess I'm sophomore that time when they migrated to the states. It was one hell of a day and I cried hard. It's as if a piece of me... was gone. One good thing though is that they would visit the family every other year or once every two years (if I remember it right). But when most of the family migrated in the US and my mom and dad was left here in the Philippines, the dalaw thing got less frequent lalo na that both lolo and lola is tumatanda na. May be they were advised by the doctor too. She had a bypass operation and after years when she's allowed to travel, she let me see the cut, and it was long... upper chest down to her abdomen I guess. Then another cut was on her leg (I can't remember if its on her right or left). That's where the doctor took the veins that was used for her heart. A lot of things happened and of course I can't (not ready) tell it publicly.

The last time she was here in the Philippines, I went home for a vacation too. I feel so relieved and endless happiness came rushing in. The sad part though was that she can't remember much. At that time, medyo hindi pa ganun ka lala yong pagkamakalimutin niya. But I did experienced it talaga nung nagvacation sila. There was this time na bumili kami sa phamarcy ng gamot nila ng lolo ko, wiling-wili siya sa pakikipagkwentuhan sa pharmacist and about sa spanish time yong ni kwento and she keeps on introducing me as her "Pamangkin". Nakalimutan niya na apo niya ko. Minsan naman sa house, she's too worried and stress looking for something. I asked her, "Nanay, ano hinahanap mo?" then she said, she can't seem to find her glasses. I was like natahimik and naaawa na nalulungkot coz' she's wearing it. Before that, while nasa byahe pa lang daw sila going to the Philippines, sa loob ng eroplano hindi siya mapakali. Then Tatay asked her bakit, sagot niya kasi ang tagal daw dahil yong mga pananim niya na gulay sa garden pipitasin na niya.

Right now, my lola was diagnosed with alzheimer's disease. It runs in our family. Her mom's sister died with that illness too. Naabutan ko din yong lola naming yon. So sad talaga. Now, my lola doesn't even know how to pee at times. Naiihi lang siya basta-basta and that's one thing na nawawala sa taong may alzheimer's disease. Kahit pag-ihi... tae.. etc. nakakalimutan nila. Minsan daw she was seen by a neighbor wandering around. Good thing talaga nakita siya dahil kung hind baka kung san san siya napadpad. Now, she forgot her kids and I don't know what else she doesn't remember. She will be visiting us again by months end. My Tita and Tatay will accompany her.

We miss her a lot! the Nanay we came to grow up with! We Love you Nanay, SO MUCH ♥

It's so sad na darating ang araw, hindi ka na makikilala ng taong mahal mo. That that person will forget every single details about you... even those stuffs that person is used to of doing. But I'm pretty sure, mas masakit yon sa part ng family ng taong yon' mismo. Ikaw ba naman makalimutan ng mahal mo? Diba?

I'll blog about Alzheimer's Disease separately!

Add ground pepper and Tofu/Tokwa. Simmer or let boil  again to cook the tofu. It will allow pork to tenderized as well. Add the sliced ampalaya and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Definitely Japan. Definitely Kojie.san

When it comes to your skin care, why is it important to use only the original kojic acid soap?

 Nothing Beats the Original...

Pangit ako! Ang itim ko! Ang gaspang ng balat ko! Kailan kaya ako gaganda? May pag-asa pa ba akong GUMANDA?

Paano kung sabihin ko sayong, OO?!?

Is this how you feel each time you look at yourself in the mirror? That every time you get a chance to have a glimpse of your face, it's as if you wanted to curse what you're seeing in front of you?

Worry NO MORE! Japan's Kojic Acid Soap is in the Rescue!
Kojie.san

Kojie.san is the first kojic acid soap to be commercially available in the Philippine market. Kojic acid is also referred to as the skin lightening active and this is what's mostly present in a whitening soap. What others can't copy though is the unique ingredients kojie.san contains. Kojie.san has a micro peeling effect, which makes it a potent whitening product. It does not contain any harmful chemicals and it contains antioxidants and 100% all natural ingredients!

Kojie.san was introduced in the industry since 2007 and was initially supplied to dermatologist, who prescribed it to patients with skin darkening issues or problems. This Kojie.san is really effective and became viral up to a point that almost everyone would like to buy and try it. Not only that, some did try imitating or copying the brand. But of course, once you're the original, no one can ever beat what you can do!

Stay with the most trusted beauty product provider and you'll never regret it for sure!

I discovered Kojie.san soap a year ago. I'm renting a place in Las Piñas that time and one of my housemates is using this. We're working on the same company before however we're working on a different shift, so if she doesn't have time to go to the market and I do, she'd ask me a favor. This friend asked me one time to buy Kojie.san soap. She's pretty and really has a nice skin. She told me that she's just using Kojie.san soap on her face! I got curious then hehe

That's how I came to know Kojie.san!

For me? Kojie.san product isn't made to change you totally. It helps you bring out what's best  in you! That flawlessness is just in there and Kojie.san brought it out!

Cheers to the girl who introduced Kojie.san to me! Look how pretty she is

NOW...

Do you want to be 10, 20, or 30 years younger than your real age?

Be  a Kojie.san lover and have that distinguished healthy, flawless porcelain skin and youthful look you've been craving for!

Remember, no one is born ugly! It's just how you carry and present yourself in the public.

Smile always and be brave to face the WORLD together with Kojie.san!
