Some of you may have heard these lines before. Those who are closest to me may recognize it a bit.

Yes, you are right!

That is what I answered in our school’s pageant way back my junior year. I know you might find it hard to believe that this petite girl was once a beauty queen, right? Haha But if HE just bless me with a little more of that I-SO-CRAVED “H E I G H T”, I’d chose it as my career now. No kidding. Oh well, I’m still happy though, even if you guys are 3… 6… 7 feet taller than I am. @_O

Why did I highlight that “early pregnancy” thing above?

Last night, I was browsing into www.youtube.com when I saw this uploaded TV show that got my attention. I guess it’s called “Maury Show”, if I’m not mistaken.

The topic?

It was a 37-minute video that got me really interested. I click and watch the show and the whole time, I was like…

Oh my G_sh!!!

The show focuses on these 4 teenage girls who are so obsessed in having a baby of their own. Each one of them has their own reasons why they wanted to conceive one. If you get to hear it, you’ll say, theirs are the worst reasons ever. Their parents are invited in the show as well.  Imagine how it feels like to be them, those sad and painful eyes of a mother. How terrifying it is to see how your kids end up just like that.

One of the girls has sex 4 times a day for 7 days. That’s 28 times in just a week. Can you imagine how can a 15-year-old girl do that? She slept with anyone and even a stranger. She slept with 30 guys already. Her mom says that her kid is a top student in school with honors. There are times that her daughter would go out for minutes then goes back home with a boy and when asked who it is, she doesn’t even know the name. She would not want to be reprimanded. She would go out of their house and would prefer to stay out. Her mom told that once her daughter call her up around 3 in the morning and told her she’s pregnant. But when they did a test, its false alarm, she’d go out again and have sex with anyone until she gets pregnant.   She was asked, what if the guy decided to use a condom. Want to know what her answer is? “I’d put holes in it.” She was so really into getting pregnant. According to her mom, her friends at the street all have babies and I guess she’s being influenced.

The other girl is around 14 years old. She was once pregnant but she lost it after she falls off something. According to her mom, she became more obsessed of getting pregnant again so she’d go out to have sex with anyone until she gets what she wants. She’s smoking, drinking alcohol and is into smoking pots. She’s been called a whore, slut etc. by neighbors or other people.

This other kid is a bit weird. She would buy and collect baby stuffs for her so-called “Future Baby”. She even brought it along with her at the show. You name it and she has it. Her mom said that she wouldn’t let any one touch her things. This kid would have sex almost every day too. She said, she’ll have sex anywhere she feels like it. At the park, mall, parking etc. She’ll do it anywhere just as long as she gets her baby.

Another teenage girl was introduced. This one has a baby toy with her and she named it ‘Sincere’. It was a baby boy. Her mom said she’ll bring it along with her all the time. She would take care of it like what a real mom does to a baby. She’d change the dolls diaper, feed it and even wakes up in the middle of the night to carry it and have it sleep again. She was asked what she will do to support her future baby. She said, she’ll work and even steal stuff for her/his. Then the host told her what if she will get caught and put into jail, she said “My mom will take care of the baby.” Her mom then said, “No. It’s your baby and you will take care of it.”

These girls are so addicted to S E X.

The Maury show invited a real teen mom. They let them see what happened to her right after she gets pregnant at a very young age. She then told the girls that it is not what they wanted to have. That it’s really harder in real life. She can’t go out with her friends anymore, can’t party or go to school because she has to take care of her baby.

If you just see the look on their faces. It only means that they really don’t understand how it is like to be a real mom. You need to provide for you kid/s. You need to go to work to buy them food, their shelter and save up for their future education. You need to have a good stable job to do it. They will never be like a “Baby” forever; they’ll grow up one day.

The show then decided to bring along real babies and each one of them was given a 24-hour task to see if they really are capable of having their own baby.

They don’t even know how to change a diaper. The babies cry and cry the whole time. They look so stressed. They have to feed them and change their clothes. Carry the babies along with them wherever they go.

After they finished the 24-hour test…

They cried and hug their moms and said…

“I don’t want to have a baby right now.”
